CDTA seeks input on route changes in Albany County Jul 04, 2011 // Jorja McKinneyNo Comments »The Capital District Transportation Authority plans a series of public meetings to describe its planned route restructuring in Albany County and to get comments from passengers and local residents. The move follows restructurings in Saratoga and Schenectady counties that CDTA says boosted ridership.
The new roues seek to better connect where people live, where they work and where they shop.
Details of the proposed restructuring havent been released, but are expected to be available shortly.
The meetings are:
- Thursday, July 7, 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., Arbor Hill/West Hill Branch, Albany Public Library, 148 Henry Johnson Boulevard, Albany;
- Monday, July 11, 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., Albany Housing Authority headquarters, 200 South Pearl St., Albany;
- Wednesday, July 13, 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., Main Branch, Albany Public Library, 161 Washington Ave., Albany; and
- Thursday, July 14, 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., Pine Hills Branch, Albany Public Library, 517 Western Ave., Albany.
Residents and riders dont have to attend one of the meetings; they can also provide their comments on line at the CDTA website.
