Dobbies Speke 300
GARDEN centre chain Dobbies is holding a recruitment fair this Friday to recruit for 120 posts at its Dobbies Garden World in Speke, Liverpool – set to open in autumn this year.
The recruitment fair is taking place in the conference suite at The PFL building, South Road, Liverpool, from 11am to 8pm.
A range of full and part-time job opportunities will be supported by formal in-house training programmes, so that 50% of staff will have specific horticultural knowledge and expertise.
Dobbies, a division of supermarket giant Tesco, is constructing the 50,000 sq ft garden centre on an 8.78 acre site off Speke Boulevard
Michelle Reid, Dobbies’ HR advisor, said: “We want to hear from everyone who has the skills and experience to be part of our new state-of-the-art Garden World – our first garden centre in Liverpool.
“It’s an exciting opportunity to join a busy, fast-paced business.
“There are a range of opportunities available in the plant team, aquatics, operations, warehouse and customer service teams.
“There are also various positions in our restaurant such as chefs, waiting staff and bakery teams.”
